I can’t even lie, y’all. I had to make this post as soon as I found out about this track because Prince was my very first love in music. I learned all the lyrics to the Purple Rain soundtrack when I was in KINDERGARTEN. 

(He was also my first crush. We can talk about the implications of this fact later…)

Let us all take the time to fully appreciate Prince’s genius, artistry, and the BEAUTIFUL reference to “Kiss”. Flawless, fun, FABU track.
